Blessed to Be a Blessing: How Clarity Ministries and Horse Stamp Inn Made an Impact on a Pastor's Family
In the world of Airbnb, it's not uncommon for hosts to receive requests for discounted stays. However, when we received a request from a pastor, we will call “Bill”, something about it felt different. Intrigued by his story, we decided to dig deeper and discovered a family facing numerous challenges. Little did we know that by offering a significant discount, we would make a lasting impact on Bill and his family. Bill, reached out to us through Airbnb, requesting a significant discount for their stay. Although such requests are often met with skepticism, we felt the Lord’s prompting that this one was different. Driven by curiosity, we looked deeper into Bill’s story and learned about his family's selfless dedication to serving others. Bill shared that he and his siblings were all involved in various forms of ministry. Tragically, their father had passed away from a heart attack, and their mother was battling health issues. Amidst these challenges, Bill’s brothers and their wives had adopted five children, some of whom were dealing with depression due to their difficult pasts. Despite the hardships, Bill’s family remained resilient and cherished the opportunity to come together as a family. Bill was looking for a place where his extended family could stay together during their trip to Jacksonville for a wedding. He explained that they preferred a peaceful and low-key environment. Their idea of a fun night was playing games and spending time with loved ones. The family also enjoyed activities like fishing and relaxing by the pool. In response to Bill’s message, we shared that we had been involved in the Pastoral Church Ministry for 25 years. We had recently purchased the Horse Stamp Inn to support pastors and ministry leaders. We felt the Lord was leading us to offer the pastor and his family a significant discount. They were incredibly grateful and saw this opportunity as a huge blessing from the Lord. When Bill and his family arrived at the Horse Stamp Inn they were immediately captivated by its beauty. The house provided them with everything they needed, and they cherished the time making memories together. Throughout their stay, they constantly expressed their gratitude acknowledging the incredible impact this ministry had on their lives. When they checked out, they couldn't find enough words to express their gratitude. They described the Horse Stamp Inn as an amazing blessing, far surpassing their expectations. As we reflected on this heartwarming experience, we felt so grateful to God for calling us to this ministry and the amazing impact Clarity Ministries and Horse Stamp Inn have on pastors and ministry leaders. The business aspect often overshadows the profound impact being made on countless lives. The opportunity to be part of God’s blessing to a family like Bill’s, who dedicated their lives to serving others, was a true honor for our family.

I truly believe in the importance of family vacations—they're like magical glue that strengthens bonds, creates beautiful memories, and keeps us tightly knit together. But when I tied the knot with Mark, he introduced me to a whole new world of vacationing—luxurious resorts and cozy Airbnb became our go-to. And let me tell you, once you've experienced the comfort of a plush bed and a hot tub, there's no turning back to camping for me! Ha! Now, reflecting on those cherished memories from my childhood and our own family adventures, it's clear to me why family vacations hold such significance in our lives and exactly why we love to share Horse Stamp with your families!
